First Tuesday October Concert

Our October First Tuesday concert features Yid-Ee Goh on violin and Lisa Chou on piano.

They will play Johannes Brahms’s Sonata for Violin and Piano No.1 in G Major, Op. 78 ‘Regensonate’, Clara Schumann’s Three Romances for Violin and Piano, Op.22, and Manuel de Falla’s Suite Populaire Espagnole for Violin and Piano.

Singaporean born Yid-Ee is a former Concertmaster of Orchestra Wellington (formerly Vector Wellington Orchestra), violinist for the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and New Zealand String Quartet. Lisa was born in Taiwan and studied under the guidance of Associate Professor Rae de Lisle at the University of Auckland. Both run busy private teaching studios in Auckland and are also part of Ensemble East, a chamber music project founded in 2015 by a group of musicians passionate about sharing and playing music with one another and the communities in which they live.
