Football Lesson by Japanese Team Shonan Bellmare Girls

Japanese Pro Football Club “Shonan Bellmare U-15 Girls Team” are coming to Wellington! Join their FREE Football Coaching Event for Fun and Friendship. Beginners welcome!

Target Audience: Elementary and middle school students (beginners welcome)

We, the Shonan Bellmare Girls, are a girls' team affiliated with the J-League's Shonan Bellmare Academy, and will embark on an expedition to Wellington with 34 players aged 14 to 16.

We would like to have fun playing soccer with children living in the Wellington region. We hope to become "Football Friends" and warmly invite children to participate. Even if you have no prior experience with soccer, it is not a problem. Let's all enjoy soccer together!

Details: We will practice dribbling, shooting, and other skills with the Shonan Bellmare Girls players and conclude with a friendly match.

9:30: Reception
10:00 - 11:30: Training session with a friendly match
11:30: Photo session
12:00: Complete withdrawal

Number of Participants: 60 participants

What to Bring: Sports attire, shoes (cleats allowed), water bottle, towel, change of clothes

Handling of Photos and Videos: Footage and photos featuring participants may be used for publicity and commercial purposes by our club, J-League and J-Club, sponsors (official website, event photo sales, etc.), as well as by the general media (match broadcasts, TV, newspapers), among others.

How to access to the Green Room (Indoor turf ground):
Enter through Gate 1, 20 Somme Road and follow the road along. See attached the map image of the Campus for parking spaces with circles in black. The Green room is located in the Performance Institute. The main reception is just inside the Performance institute.

In addition to this coaching event, we will be attending the Italy vs. Sweden match on July 29 and the Japan vs. Spain match on July 31. On July 28, 29, and 30, we will have matches against various teams including Wellington Phoenix Reserves. Our goals for this expedition are as follows:

We aim to:
- become individuals who can excel on the global stage.
- experience genuine (top-level) soccer firsthand in New Zealand, where the World Cup is taking place.
- support the Nadeshiko Japan, energise women's soccer in Japan.
- expand our activities beyond Japan and into the world.
- interact with people from all around the world and make new friends.
- broaden our perspectives and create connections to the world, society, and the future.
