Yoga and Beach clean-up

Summer is over but we can still enjoy our beaches.

We are blessed with beautiful beaches all around Aotearoa but every year we see more and more plastics littering our shorelines, so before the cold weather really sets in join us @Shereenanoelle for a Free beach yoga practice with Kristine @aiflows followed by a beach clean-up.

There are 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris in the ocean of that mass 269,000 tons float on the surface while some 4 billion plastic microfibers per square kilometre litter the deep sea. While we may feel powerless against those staggering numbers we can all do our small part to do better for our own backyard.

Bring your yoga mat and a bucket or bag to collect rubbish in. We will gather all the rubbish up and dispose of it when we are done. All actions bring change.
