High Ambition: Hugo Robinson (AKA Jimmy Watson) DJing with Ensai August on live percussion. Ensai has played alongside the likes of MĀ, Lord Echo, Louie Baker, Clear Path Ensemble, and Glass Vaults.
Louisa Williamson: Perhaps the most sought-after horn player in town. An illustrious saxophonist and composer, she has played alongside L.A.B., Trinity Roots, Dawn Diver, Bret McKenzie Band, The Rodger Fox Big Band, Lord Echo, Louis Baker, Rob Ruha, AJA, and more. Her gorgeously immersive debut album What Dreams May Come was released in 2022.
Hayden Afele-Nickel: A prolific violinist with a flair for tasteful collaboration. He's played alongside the most prestigious orchestras in Aotearoa, including the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Wellington and Dunedin Symphony Orchestra. Also a passionate educator, he is a senior teacher at Arohanui Strings in the Hutt Valley, and Virtuoso Strings in Porirua.
Hayden and Louisa starred together in the sellout Hip Hop x Strings concerts at the 2022 Classical on Cuba festival.
