Laneway Jazz Series - Under the Kitchen Sink

Under the Kitchen Sink play a slick, sophisticated and refreshingly eclectic mix of jazz-infused originals, as well fresh takes on classic Jazz and Blues standards. They also explore 'modern classics' taking inspiration from contemporary jazz artists such as Bob Reynolds, Joshua Redmond, Alex Hahn, John Scofield, Eddie Harris and Kenny Garrett with a few standards and a couple of originals thrown in for good measure. Stylish, polished and highly entertaining with amazing vocals by Lisa Tui and a very funky rhythm section topped off with superb showmanship from Matt on saxophone.

Grab a bite to eat from one of the Laneway Lunches eateries, pull up a bean bag and let the sounds get you into a summer mood. In the event of wet weather this jazz performance will take place under the canopy beside Altiora.

This concert is part of Open Air, a relaxed programme of events with wide appeal, running until early February.
