The Whangarei District Council would like to invite you to attend our upcoming Matariki Community Hui in the Cafler Suite, Forum North.
This year we will celebrate Puanga and Matariki through a festival that aims to connect not only our local communities but all our Whangarei organisations together to dream, inspire, educate, and connect. We would like to invite you to join us for a Community Collaboration Hui to connect and share your thoughts, intentions and plans so that we can come together and collectively weave our own dance of stars and dreams for our region this Matariki.
In 2022, our Matariki offering involved many organisations and communities across our district showcasing, educating, and inspiring our communities. This year, we would like to invite you all to join us in planning hui for our Puanga and Matrariki celebrations to collate, collaborate, communicate and weave together our own dance of stars and dreams for our region.
This meeting is open to any person or community group who is interested in running an event as part of the Matariki Festival or has an idea of something they would like to see delivered to the community to celebrate Puanga and Matariki.
