Two million reasons to attend...
The New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Million needs no introduction. The evening features not one, but two $1,000,000 races and it truly is an example of how racing is the sport of kings. For little over one minute, a glittering crowd will hold its breath as the country’s most promising two-year-old thoroughbred horses & some of our best jockeys compete for their share of one of NZ’s richest sporting purses – the $1,000,000 Karaka Million 2YO. And if the one-million-dollar contest wasn’t enough, we've got another million-dollar race - the $1,000,000 Karaka Million 3YO Classic – and more Group status races run in support.
The evening sees with the who's who of New Zealand’s racing scene cheering on their charges, enjoying a glass of bubbles and rubbing shoulders with some of Auckland's social set - all staged beneath the setting sun.
The only twilight raceday on the Pukekohe Park calendar for the 2022/23 season, the evening will be fast paced and electric. With the biggest prize money in New Zealand racing on offer and bragging rights aplenty, it's a night like no other.

Timings & details are subject to change; please refer to the event website for up-to-date information. Pukekohe Park is a fully licensed facility and no BYO alcohol is permitted. Racemeeting normally held at Ellerslie but at Pukekohe Park for 2023 due to a track upgrade project.
