Pukekohe’s Month of Motorsport Festival gets underway with the fantastic Golden Homes North Island Endurance Championship which will feature the final ever Three Hour endurance race on the iconic Pukekohe track.
The growth of endurance racing in New Zealand over the past decade has been driven by both Kiwi’s enthusiasm for turning sprint racing cars into endurance racing cars as well as the global growth of GT3 and GT4 racing. And it’s meant there have been some outstanding endurance races at the Pukekohe track – but those three hour epics come to an end this weekend.
You can expect to see mouth-watering cars from McLaren, Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Nissan and Mercedes pushed to their very limits by some of the best drivers in New Zealand in both the Three Hour and One Hour race and for the home engineering and club racing community there will be one of the hugely popular Two Hour races to look forward to for cars slower than the One Hour and Three Hour thoroughbreds.
It’ll be action ALL THE WAY at this final big endurance meeting at the track, and a race meeting you simply won’t want to miss.
