Get your PJs on and your torches and teddies out! School may be out but the crazy characters at Tūhura Otago Museum are still in and waiting for you. So, get ready to head to the zoo and explore the museum galleries by night.

Uncover stories and juicy facts about some of the most interesting items in our collection, take part in the fun with our energetic storyteller and zookeeper Mark, make your own animal mask or have boogie at our wild disco! With surprises, challenges, games, crafts, and fun tucked around every corner, journey around our galleries like never before. Dress as an escaped zoo-animal or in your best pyjamas and you might be selected as a prize winner!

Our Museum shop will be open to buy gifts for your cubs, and there'll be treats and balloons for sale too. End the night with a bounce on our jungle castle or zoom through the galaxy in our Planetarium!

Please note, recommended for children aged 3 – 12, children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Some offers are paid, so we recommend bringing cash with you.
