As you by now, nearly 20 years ago there was a rule enforced for all rotary streets cars to have a scatter shield or blanket installed. After many years of campaigning, we finally have managed to reverse this and remove the rule for vehicles running 11.0 or slower.
It's time to RE:Ignite the rotary drag racing scene and celebrate this victory in style! #FreeTheBlanket
It's 100% free to enter your Rotary into the Drag Racing, Burnouts or Show & Shine/Pit Parking online! Free entry covers vehicle and driver.

Racing begins 10am
Spectators: $20 - Kids 10 and under free.
No alcohol or pets.
Standard Meremere rules apply:
Wof/reg required to for Drag Racing.
No wof/reg required for Burnouts.
Vehicles faster than 10.99 and faster requires a scatter blanket.
