Rita Angus tour with String Quartet

Back by popular demand, join Lizzie Bisley, Te Papa's Curator Modern Art, for an engaging tour of Rita Angus: New Zealand Modernist | He Ringatoi Hou o Aotearoa. Together with the Auckland University String Quartet, where they will be performing live Four Canzonas for strings by Douglas Lilburn. Lilburn, who was instrumental in establishing a national style of composition draws on nature and the open countryside as inspiration, similar to the landscapes of Rita Angus.
