The books:  What an amazing range of newly donated books we have for the 2023 sale?  They are categorised to make for easy location - children's, recipes, gardening, wellbeing, popular novelists, NZ history, autobiographies, recommended reads and so on...something for everyone.  Come by and get your year's supply of reading.
The clothing:  We have been donated some fabulous good condition pre-loved clothing including ballgowns and footwear.  This year for the first time Whitwells have kindly donated some of their overstocked clothing and shoes - our grateful thanks to Brent their manager who happens to have grown up here and continues to live in the Moutere.
What's this about china?  We have a range of estate china, silver, crystal etc and especially old books - a number dating back to the 1800s or early-mid 1900s.  These spines look great on your bookcase even if you never read them!
The pop-up cafe - with special thanks to Tasman Store, Oaklands Milk, New World Motueka, the Moutere Store and the many fabulous bakers in the district we are offering hot soup and a roll, or coffee and a cake.  Come along and sit with us for a while enjoying the ambience.
Entertainment:  We have Morgan Grove-Roberts back by popular demand, and Octavia Acappella.   Be sure to leave them your pocket cash when you leave the venue!
Stamps:  A keen local collector has sorted out (and donated) bags of swap and starter packs for new collectors.  If this is your (potential) hobby - look out for them!
And then - there are the school children who also have a stall selling all sorts of random bits and pieces from plants to toys ... a great age for them to begin volunteering and supporting community events.  The entire event is run and managed by volunteers to raise money for the Sarau Community Trust who in turn support and assist local groups and sports and of course the fantastic facility which is Moutere Hills Community Centre.
