During November, Petone's seaside Art & Gift Gallery is excited to be exhibiting photography of Wellington by Simon Woolf together with Rachel Walkers exhibition featuring her paintings and limited edition prints of New Zealand birds.
Simon is one of Wellingtons most successful and well known photographers, passionate about Wellington and he loves the outdoors and nature. Very much a people person, Simon has a natural affinity for people, thriving on interaction with personalities from all walks of life and this shows through in his photographs. Simon lectures widely and has acquired numerous qualifications throughout his illustrious career. Simon has exhibited his works widely (in solo and group exhibitions), and has judged many competitions locally and internationally. Simon has been awarded numerous awards for his photography both in New Zealand and internationally and in 1990 was the recipient of a Queens New Zealand Honour for services to the community. Simon Woolf’s exhibition will be shown upstairs gallery space dedicated to photography and art classes.
