Summer is the season for long lunches with friends, insightful conversation and of course, a glass of wine.
To celebrate the Summer of Gwen, Church Road would like to invite wine lovers to join them for an intimate three-course lunch in conversation with Shit You Should Care About Founder, Lucy Blakiston - a global phenomenon with 57,000 daily newsletter subscribers and 3.6 million IG followers.

Led by Amber Baker, Journalist and Editor-In-Chief at one of New Zealand’s leading fashion and lifestyle magazines, Remix. The conversation will explore how Lucy has challenged the status quo and shaken up the popular culture of today through the platform Shit You Should Care About.

The conversation between Lucy and Amber will take place at Azabu in Mission Bay, where guests will enjoy a premium three-course set menu with mouth-watering options including a ceviche platter to start and pan-fried Snapper with enoki mushroom, ponzu butter, yuzu pumpkin puree as a main course. Azabu Head Chef has carefully paired each course with the three different Gwen wines; Rose, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay to delight the senses and heighten the eating and drinking experience.

Church Road’s Gwen is inspired by its namesake, a gracious and elegant woman who was a driving force of community and showed unwavering support for Church Road founder and her husband, Tom McDonald. Gwen’s graciousness and trailblazing spirit inspired the crisp, refined style of winemaking that the Gwen wine collection captures.

We have no doubt you’ll be inspired by the insightful conversation between Lucy and Amber, over a crisp glass of Gwen wine and mouthwatering cuisine. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
