In the Middle Ages alchemists dreamed of the transmutation of base metals into gold. In the 1950s, jazz musicians transformed music into pure refined coolness. Think of an enormous martini: 60 pints of gin, 10 cups of vermouth, and 300 olives. Now pour that mixture into the bell of a trombone and stir with a golden saxophone. The result: a music so cool that only Hashigo Zake can present it!
Daniel Yeabsley: Alto & Baritone Saxophone
Kaito Walley: Trombone
Johnny Lawrence : Bass
Cory Champion : Drums
Hashigo Zake's Friday night music events are presented with assistance from Kererū Brewing.
