Come experience dance in a way you've never seen before. Creatively directed by Becca Weber & Joanna Cook.
Vector 360 is a five-minute VR film experience that allows audiences both to step inside the dance and to view the movement from a distance, providing an ‘inside out’ look at how dance is made, challenging traditional theatre space, perspectives, and viewing habits of dance audiences.
You'll also get to experience the accompanying immersive participatory installation, Vector: Interact. This uses a projected, real-time responsive technology to allow you, the audience to create your own choreography.
Move and engage in your own embodied awareness while generating multimodal (aural and visual) digital effects in a projected screen image, viewable by themselves and any others in the physical space of the installation, creating a sense of connection and exchange between the physical and virtual sites.
Please note: this is an installation work. Audience members should allow 10-15 minutes for the full Vector experience, and this is undertaken with a maximum of 3 people at a time, so there may be a small wait-time during busy viewing periods. You will be able to select a viewing slot after booking, our team will get in touch about this.
