Together with Rangitāne o Manawatū, we invite you to join us at this free and family-friendly event in Te Marae o Hine.

Come and kōrero with Rangitāne about the Treaty and learn about it's history in Papaioea.

We'll also have a free bbq, food trucks, activities and stalls, and a concert which will kick off at 3.30pm.

Anna Coddington, a winner at the 2022 Waiata Māori Music Awards, will be headlining the performances with her mix of pop, soulful, and indie acoustic sounds.
Māori music collective, IA, will also be taking the stage with their traditional Māori instruments and catchy electronic music.
Emerging artist from Levin, Te Kura Huia, will too be bringing her multidisciplinary, multicultural and powerful sounds to the stage.

So don’t go away for the long weekend, come spend the day with us – we’ll have all of the fun, storytelling, entertainment and delicious kai you could possibly ask for. This will also be a chance for many of us to learn more about Te Tiriti o Waitangi from the lens of our mana whenua.
