Waterbourne Beach Festival

New Zealand's Biggest Beach Festival is coming to Mount Maunganui from March 4th to 11th 2023. We will have the worlds best foilers competing in the opening event of the 2023 GWA Wingfoil World Tour in both Surf Freestyle and Slalom Racing. Waterbourne will have a range of other events happening throughout the event including amateur events for paddle boarders & foilers.

Alongside the GWA World Cup will be running -
- Foiling: Long distance race, which will ideally be a downwinder from Mt Maunganui to Papamoa
- Paddle Boarding: The EVES Real Estate Paddle Boarding Championship which will take place on March 11th, and will include distance and technical races from the beach.

Alongside the watersports, the NZ Beach Volleyball Championships will be on display at the beach during the weekends.

There will also be live music down at our beach stage on March 4th and 11th.
