Being a Sunday n all the last minute availability of The Sunshine Sound System for NYE at The Yotty has meant a decision to run the night as per our regular Sundays:
Outside till 10pm with Sunshine Sound System. Inside till 1am with Greg Churchill.

Sunshine Sound System are the undisputed champions when it comes to DJ/MC action in NZ.
A Sunshine set typically includes lots of fresh bootlegs, a bit of reggae & dub, plenty of hiphop, (but no trash understand?!), dancehall, original skool soul and funk including a few crate-digger breaks, plus if the mood takes us, a badbwoy fusion of old skool ragga junglism, breaks and D&B. KPz and Downtown represent the sound of Aotearoa sound system culture. With roots implanted in reggae, soul, hiphop and real conversation, they rule over any track Downtown throws down, and a great deal of what u hear is completely freestyle, although it’s usually delivered with such freedom, musicality and instinctive understanding that nobody ever notices!
Here's a bit about Greg Churchill...NYE at The Yotty is always a night for the ages . Greg Churchill will be playing from 10pm till1am. A long Greg Churchill set is a thing of beauty. Greg is one of NZ's finest Dj's with a long career at the absolute forefront of techno and house music in New Zealand.
