Zine Market

Wellington Zinefest going back to basics in 2023 with a Zines Only mid-year market this May. All are welcome to come check out the thriving zine scene in Te Whanganui-a-Tara.

Zines (pronounced 'zeen') are DIY self-published booklets, comics and magazines produced by creatives and activists alike. They're typically made and sold cheaply and explore niche ideas and interests and show off the maker's creative talents.

You'll find us in the Atrium of Victoria University's Te Aro Campus. There's room for sixty different stalls all dedicated to the art of zinemaking.

Our markets are free to attend and no registration is required - just turn up on the day. We encourage you to bring cash and great vibes <3
