A special class just for the summer holidays, this 3 hour session caters to families with teens and kids, so you can all come and create fabulous memories and special mementos together!
Open to adults, teens and responsible children over the age of 8. Children and teens under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult or guardian. Whānau groups will work together on their projects.
With extra tutors and assistance on hand for the younger kids, this class will focus on creating simple hammer textured earrings, pendants or simple bracelets.
Adults can work with copper and silver, learning to heat, texture and shape the metals to create their own individual treasures. Teens and kids (above the age of 8) can use pre-cut metal shapes and learn to use hammers to add texture and personalise things with letter and number stamps.
Everyone can then choose from creating simple pendants or bracelets on quality colourful cords, or earrings on solid sterling silver hooks. Extras like sterling silver chains are also available for purchase.
Adults classed as 16 years and over. Teens: 15 - 12 years. Child: 11 - 8 years.
