After a hugely successful series of gigs in 2023, Band And Deliver returns to The Jam Factory in 2024.
There will be three gigs this year. All are free to the public and all featuring local college-age bands and performers, as per last year’s format. All gigs are on Fridays, 17th May, 21st June and 9th August.
The aim is to find and develop local talent. With the gigs being free to attend, the bands get a captive audience, and the audience has the best chance to see emerging talent.
Some bands will be on stage for the first time. Some will be honing their craft. Some hidden gems will be unearthed.

In an age where we are bombarded with the false prophesies of TV Talent shows aimed at creating superstars who disappear after 5 minutes, this is where real talent starts and grows without any sort of pressure. Pure musical joy.
To paraphrase Dave Grohl from Nirvana and The Foo Fighters;
‘Musicians should go to a yard sale and buy and old drum set and get in their garage and just suck. And get their friends to come in and they'll suck, too. And then they'll start playing and they'll have the best time they've ever had in their lives and then all of a sudden they'll become Nirvana. Because that's exactly what happened with Nirvana.’
Band And Deliver will deliver the good, every time.
