Course Overview:
A deep dive into sustainability and circular economy thinking. An insight into what the latest science is telling us about the state of our environmental and social wellbeing in Aotearoa, and the history of how we got here. Understand the big picture, how it is all connected, and the role for businesses to play in our economic transformation. Gain tools and knowledge to confidently engage in sustainability conversations and decision making. This course will inform and empower individuals to confidently engage in, and communicate, our complex sustainability problems, and the solutions, responsibilities, and opportunities for businesses in the 21st century.

About Our Facilitators:
Nick Morrison is the founding director of Go Well Consultancy and has over seven years of industry experience. He has worked with businesses in New Zealand and Australia, across multiple industries, through the creation of holistic and bespoke sustainability strategies, to their implementation and communication. He is a passionate, engaging and informative speaker with a talent for breaking down complex issues and communicating them in a digestible and interesting way.

Vanessa Thompson is our director of supply chain and textiles. Vanessa studied Fashion Management at the London College of Fashion and has spent her entire career working in fashion. She has worked with a number of New Zealand’s most well-known brands, both large and small, particularly with improving the visibility and ethics of their supply chains.

Alix McKenzie is an Emissions Consultant who works with our clients to map their carbon footprints, improve their carbon accounting practices, and develop and implement carbon reduction plans. She is experienced with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol: A Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (2004), and ISO 14064-1:2018 Specification with Guidance at the Organisation Level for Quantification and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Removals.

This course is ideal for:
- Someone trying to improve the sustainability performance of their existing organisation
- Someone with some existing knowledge and is looking to get into the industry
- Someone who works in sustainability, but needs to broaden and deepen their knowledge
- Senior decision makers/senior management who want/need to be better informed on sustainability
- Someone with business leadership ambitions/potential
- People working in one part of sustainability but who would like to understand; the big picture and interconnectedness and/or upskill in other impact areas

This Workshop is $950pp + GST. Course fee includes catering (dietary requirements catered for) and booking fees.
