Join us for a series of free events aimed at growing capability of community groups through development sessions on relevant topics, each session also providing an opportunity for networking. Each session will run for 90 minutes.
The talk will be from 5:30pm to 6:15pm, with the remainder of the time for networking. Free pre-registration required for each individual event.
Event Marketing and Promotions
You’ve got the event planning well underway, the venue booked, and the volunteers rallied together but now you need to promote your event! The next CommUnity After 5 event aims to give you tips and tricks on how to effectively market your event to our local community including using social media, newsprint, radio, word of mouth and more. Not only will we talk about the ‘how’ of marketing, but also why it is an important aspect not to overlook when planning an event.
Our guest speakers for this workshop are both local and have been working in the marketing space for some time now. For our first CA5 of the year we will be hearing from both Rachel O'Gorman, the Events & Marketing Manager from Northland Events Centre (2021) Trust, and Suz Epskamp from Level who specialises in Digital Marketing & Communications.
