Live day: Emergency First Response is a celebration and acknowledgement of the courageous and committed mahi of emergency services employees and volunteers and their vital role in a crisis.

See volunteers from Auckland Land Search and Rescue, RNZAF, St John Cadet Programme, Surf Life Saving, along with first aid, CPR and staged crash demos, and the MPI Biosecurity dogs!

Live day: Emergency First Response is a great way to learn how you can better respond to emergencies or know who to contact if you are ever in an emergency situation.

A selection of vehicles from our Emergency collection will be out and on display, along with interactive activities like Little Flick EV rides, and building your own fire engine at our Make & Take Fire Engine workshop.

NZ Emergency and Defence Services personnel and their families can get free entry into MOTAT from the 17th – 25th of Feb. Ts&Cs Apply.

We recommend starting your journey at the Aviation Hall and enjoy the free heritage tram ride between both locations.
