Hobnail are returning to one of their favourite venues in the country after a long hiatus.
Hobnail are a Wellington institution. In 2019 they celebrated their 25th anniversary with a 5 star (music.net.nz) Best Of album and a national tour that saw them playing to full houses all over NZ.

The Hobnail Trio is founding members Rob Joass (vocals, guitar and mandolin) and Jo Moir (vocals and violin) together with the multi talented Hamish Graham (vocals, guitar, baritone guitar, percussion). The trio format brings harmonies and instrumental interplay to the fore.

Hobnail has won considerable acclaim over their career, having headlined everywhere from Canada to Norfolk Island, Auckland to Gore. They are 3-time finalists at the New Zealand Music Awards (Best Folk Album and Best Country Song twice).

"Refreshingly down-to-earth and lovely with vocals so tightly knit they could be family." Mike Alexander, NZ Herald.

With “Jo Moir's barnstorming fiddle”, great songs and spectacular harmonies, Hobnail's live show will make your feet move and your heart sing.

“Highly spirited and entertaining……an illustrious fusion of bluegrass, celtic, folk, pop, and rock’n’roll.” Stewart Hunt, Nelson Mail
