Showcase is a 2-hour dance extravaganza, show casing our competition team dances, as well as solos and duos from our competition dancers. For 2024, we will be supporting 25 dancers from across North Canterbury (Kaiapoi; Rangiora; Sefton; Loburn; Balcairn; Amberley and Culverden) across eight dance teams (Juniors; Intermediates and Seniors). Our dancers, for 2024, range in age from six to 19 years old and participate in a variety of dance genres including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical and Musical Theatre.
We are Dance Troupe NCSD Fundraising committee. We are a not-for-profit incorporated society and our society’s number is 50038005. We participate in fundraising, which is used to support our dance teams, from the North Canterbury School of Dance, going away to competitions, coaching and development, skills improvement, costumes, and expert guest training.
