Get hands-on in the bush this EcoFest, with Restore Hibiscus and Bays.
This is a very special reserve, with fabulous views from the top of the tracks. A dedicated team has been releasing native trees from invasive weeds and continuously planting. It is home to several Swamp Maire, a threatened species, which are battling to survive Myrtle rust – some are succeeding due to the efforts of the working group.
WHERE: Meet at the entrance to the reserve, 35 Helvetia Drive, Browns Bay.
WHEN: This regular working bee is on the last Sunday of the month, every month. 9:30 - 11:30am
This is a great opportunity to meet other locals interested in restoring and protecting our local environment, and to learn more about native plant and animal species and how we care for and protect them.
