Waitangi Day Hakari

Join us for our first community event of 2024—the Waitangi Day Hakari! A laid-back gathering on Tuesday, February 6th, kicking off with a community Hangi from 12 pm to 1:30 pm.
Come and lets share kai together!

Enjoy live music, Waitangi history films, Kapa haka performances, arts markets, food stalls, and Kiwiana sing-alongs throughout the afternoon.

Bring your picnic blanket, gather the crew, and park up for the day. Let's make it a memorable day of remembrance and learning with family and friends. We're going strong until 8 pm, so come chill, relax, and embrace the spirit of Waitangi Day. See you there!
