The exciting collaboration between much celebrated Hopgoods & Co of Nelson and The Macallan Scotch Whisky is here! Join us for an evening with brand ambassador Kenny Ariaens as he guides you through some of the most sort after Scotch whisky around, teamed with the finest in dining in Nelson at Hopgood & Co, with a superb menu created by Chef Aaron Ballantyne.
The Macallan - One of the first distillers in Scotland to be legally licensed, since than has built a reputation as one of the worlds leading malt whiskies. The creation of The Macallan draws on the vital contributing influences of Spain, North America and Scotland - and of their respective natural raw material, combined with traditional methods and craftmanship.
Hopgoods & Co - located in the heart of Nelson was opened in 2005 by Kevin and Jane Hopgood with the aim of presenting modern, seasonally based bistro - style dishes in a casual and relaxing environment. "Hopgood's is all about simple food done well; we source many organic vegetables from local farmers and showcase the best wines the Nelson region has to offer"
