The BIG DAY OUT is a registered trademark. The BIG DAY OUT logo is available upon request to accompany event editorial and authorised promotions. It cannot be used without the authorisation of an event representative.
The introduction of a third party sponsor in any BIG DAY OUT promotion or giveaway is strictly prohibited unless there is prior written approval by event organisers. Failure to adhere to this condition will result in cancellation of any complimentary tickets to the BIG DAY OUT.
The BIG DAY OUT will continue to implement an MA rating for the 2008 event series. This means that a parent or legal guardian must accompany any ticket holder UNDER the age of 15 years. While we don't want to restrict those under 15 from entering BIG DAY OUT competitions or giveaways, it is very important that any promotion which involves the giving away of BIG DAY OUT tickets run with a disclaimer that outlines this measure.
This applies to print, radio, TV giveaways and promotions. In the interests of fairness to your listeners we are asking for a verbal disclaimer which clearly states the following: "Any ticket holder under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to Big Day Out." Ticket holders under 15 who are unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian will not be admitted to any BIG DAY OUT event.
