Legendary American "hardcore troubador" Steve Earle makes a very special tour of New Zealand in November in support of his latest album "Washington Square Serenade", a chronicle of Steve's move to New York in search of the values he feels America should be about but currently isn't.
"I've been pretty heartbroken about the way things have gone politically in this country the last few years, and I seriously considered moving someplace else," he concludes. "Then I figured out that I didn't have to leave the country. All I had to do was come to New York."
Joining Steve on this tour is the very talented Allison Moorer who is set to release her own album, "Mockingbird", produced by Buddy Miller. Their tour will be in intimate seated theatre venues in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch.
We have one double pass for each of these shows for an Eventfinder ticket competition. To be in to win, tell us what would make you consider moving to New York; please share your ideas in the Comments section of the Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch event pages.
