Legendary saxophonist Bobby Keys is set to play one show at Auckland's Powerstation.
Visiting New Zealand as part of the Rolling Stones' live band, Keys will perform with his band the Suffering Bastards the night before the Rolling Stones concert at Mt Smart Stadium.
A long-standing friend and collaborator of the Stones, Keys has played on almost every album and tour since 1969, contributing sax solos to tracks like Brown Sugar, Bitch and Can't You Hear Me Knockin'.
Bobby Keys and the Suffering Bastards will play a set that showcases the songs he has been a part of, which also includes John Lennon’s Whatever Gets You Thru The Night, George Harrison’s What Is Life, Warren Zevon’s Poor Poor Pitiful Me and The Rolling Stones’ Happy.
