Baauer, the DJ whose song Harlem Shake inspired an internet meme will be playing three shows in Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland at the end of the month.
Harlem Shake became a hit in 2013 when thousands of videos were posted to YouTube of people dancing erratically to the song.More than just a meme, the DJ (real name Harry Baauer Rodrigues) has developed a strong repertoire of music, creating floor-fillers incorporating his trap and house music style, working with Disclosure, Jay-Z and Aluna George.
Canadian DJ/Producer Ryan Hemsworth will be touring with Baauer, and has hand-selected his friend and collaborator Race Banyon for the local support slot.

Renowned for his unique remix treatments blurring the lines between hip-hop, indie rock and pop, Hemsworth is touring in the successful path carved out by the impression of his solo production LP Guilt Trips in 2013. Prepare to party.
