Stephen Malkmus, frontman of seminal 90s group Pavement, is coming to New Zealand for four shows with his band The Jicks.
The tour announcement follows the release of the band's sixth album, 'Wig Out at Jagbags', which was released earlier this year on Matador Records.
Malkmus formed the Jicks in 2000, the year after Pavement disbanded and they were last in New Zealand for a 2009 show in Auckland at The King's Arms, with support from The Verlaines. Malkmus also performed at Auckland's Town Hall in 2010 with Pavement as part of their reunion tour.
