Listen to the heartfelt music of Wellington-based singer, Louis Baker, as he serenades fans with his hauntingly beautiful single 'Gave It All Away' heading to Auckland and Wellington next month.
Louis is set to perform backed by his full band (Johnny Lawrence - bass, Cory Champion - drums & Dan Hayles - keys).
Earlier this year, 'Gave It All Away' was revealed to the world with an artistic video which unfolds a scenario where the audience is taken right back to the song's origins - to the night the song came to life in a hotel room on the other side of the world. Louis remembered the feeling of exhaustion setting in after being on the road by himself in the UK for quite some time.
“The video depicts what actually happened, although the room wasn’t as nice. I got back to my motel room after a show and wrote the song in 15 minutes, it came pouring out of me because I meant every word." - Louis
The song was about not giving up on your dreams, never giving. It was about the resolve and determination one must have in order to make these dreams become a reality.
