Royal Blood brings How Did We Get So Dark? Tour to NZ shores Next Year

British rock duo Royal Blood return to NZ roads to own the Auckland and Wellington stage next fall. The NZ shows are part of the 'How Did We Get So Dark?' tour which also happens to be landing in Australia, with shows scheduled in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth this April and May.

Forming in Brighton in 2013, Royal Blood's first record became the UK's fastest selling rock debut in three years upon its release. Hit singles 'Out of the Black' and 'Little Monster' received widespread praise and earned them a nomination for BBC Sound of 2014, while their glorious track 'Figure It Out' has over 15 million views on YouTube and almost 50 million plays on Spotify. Since then, they have consistently sold out shows each time that they've toured fine countries.

"The most universally deified emergent UK rock band since the Arctic Monkeys first thawed out a decade ago." - Pitchfork

Mike Kerr (bass guitar/vocals) and Ben Thatcher’s (drums) will celebrate the release of their second album 'How Did We Get So Dark' which has been quick to follow suit debuting at number 1 on the UK Albums Chart, number 4 on the ARIA Album Charts and number 6 on the NZ Album Charts. Featuring hit tracks such as 'Lights Out', 'I Only Lie When I Love You' and 'Hook, Line & Sinker', the duo's recent album has gained over 19 million streams collectively since April.

From their debut shows in May 2014, Royal Blood have solidified themselves as an electrifying live act:
