In celebration of their latest 'Low Expectations' tour, acclaimed comic geniuses Christian Hull and Tanya Hennessy are doubling up the fun, playing their much-anticipated show at Auckland's SKYCITY Theatre this September.
Apart from their NZ date though, the duo are also flying across Australia to perform a run of stand-up gigs happening from September through to October. They're set to play Perth's Astor Theatre, Adelaide's Thebarton Theatre, Melbourne's The Comics Lounge Comedy Club, Hobart's Wrest Point Entertainment Centre and Brisbane's The Tivoli Theatre before wrapping up at Enmore Theatre in Sydney.
In his long-term role as National Digital Video Producer, Christian Hull has created hours of hilarious content for the national 'Carrie & Tommy Show'. His talent was so apparent that he ended up as a regular in front of the camera—giving him the honour of interviewing Hollywood heavyweight, Will Smith. But it was the videos he would shoot at home, with hilarious characters including his popular alter-ego "Trish", that quickly shot him up to online fame. Last year, Christian has started his own 'Complete Drivel' podcast—a chart-topping iTunes mainstay which he began performing as a live show to 100% sold out houses.
Meanwhile, best-selling author, columnist and national TV presenter Tanya Hennessy also has tons of Kiwi stage shenanigans up her sleeve. She started making hilarious clips during her work as a breakfast radio presenter in Queensland. Her engaging and relatable take on life have since seen her earn over 600 million views on Facebook, and a loyal following of 1.5 million across social media. Tanya's book 'Am I Doing this Right?' has earned her the title of best-selling author, and she's now in the process of writing her second book with Allen & Unwin.
