Recently we updated you about the work our team has been doing as a result of the current Covid-19 lockdown. The effect on our industry has been widely reported and as practitioners, artists, promoters, venues and event professionals we have all felt its effects.
As we contemplate how we present our work, unable to tread the stage, crowd surf or perform in front of a cheering audience, many have turned to platforms that allow creative expression through the virtual world. We've converted our living rooms into performance spaces, edited pre-recorded readings into new works, created amazing music and stories collaboratively from within our bubbles – but how do we get these works out to an audience? Eventfinda is helping our partners answer this question.
As an NZ operated company that is incredibly passionate about our industry, we want to make sure we're supporting you through this. We've spoken to many of you, we understand the common goals and we've built a service to deliver those virtual events.
Our platform still allows you to connect to your audience, present your work, and earn an income from it.
Contact Tracing
Next week we are releasing automatic Contact Tracing functionality to collect the contact details of all ticket holders, not just the person purchasing.
Contact Tracing is enabled by default and applied to all ticket types. It can be disabled (e.g. for virtual events) or turned off for specific ticket types where it's not required.
Contact Tracing will be essential for events taking place under Alert Level 2 with up to 100 people indoors and 500 outdoors.
Donations
Through the Eventfinda donation function you can request donations during the ticket purchase process.

Get in front of your virtual audience
After feedback from the industry our virtual platform can now stream from YouTube, Vimeo, or directly through the Eventfinda media player.
You can sell tickets to pre-recorded content or live stream to your audience.
