Recovering Forbidden Voices: responding to the suppression of music during World War II – a conference of presentations and performances.

The subject of the suppression and banning of music during World War Two, particularly during the Nazi regime, is the theme lying behind the 20 sessions of concerts and panel presentations/discussions in this conference, a collaboration between Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music and the History and German Departments of Victoria University of Wellington.
