Part of Pop-up Globe’s mission is to share the extraordinary experience of Shakespeare’s masterworks performed in the original space of the second Globe with as many school students as possible.

20,000 school students attended dedicated school matinees during the 2016 Anthony Harper Auckland Season at Pop-up Globe.

We are delighted to announce an expanded and improved school matinee season at the 2017 Anthony Harper Auckland Season at Pop-up Globe, on sale now.

Highlights include -
1. 25% more school matinees
2. Four new productions
3. A new location, Ellerslie Racecourse, with convenient access to buses, trains, and coach parking
4. Fixed performance duration of two and a half hours including a short intermission
5. Consistent, convenient 10.30am start time for all school matinees
6. No deposit required
7. Simplified invoice process: we will issue one invoice for each booking.
8. Every 21st ticket booked will be free of charge.

Prices & payment
The 2017 school matinee ticket price is $12.50 incl GST.
Every 21st ticket booked will be free of charge. Simply enter the total number of tickets you require (including both teachers and students), and this discount will automatically be applied for you. When you complete your booking you will be issued with an invoice. Once payment has been received your tickets will be confirmed.
Please make payment within 21 days of receipt of the invoice. If payment is not received within that time frame the booking will lapse and tickets will be put back on sale.

Ticket allocation
Your booking will be allocated across seats, standing ‘Groundlings’, or a combination of both, subject to availability.
Please note half of all attendees will be standing in the groundlings area. This is one of the best, most interactive and most authentic places to watch from. Please come prepared with appropriate weather gear (raincoat or sunhat) and plenty of water. Please note this event is for Schools Bookings only.
