UB40 - Red Red Wine Vineyard Tour

UB40, featuring the original members Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue, will headline the Red Red Wine Vineyard Tour in venues around the country this January.

Iconic Kiwi artists Jason Kerrison and Herbs will be the support acts at all events and the concert at Rotorua Lakefront will see additional special guests perform, including Ardijah, Three Houses Down, Manalio and Beau Monga.

The original line-up of UB40 with Ali, Astro and Mickey enjoyed huge success over a period of 30 years from 1979 to 2008, with #1 albums, multiple gold and platinum selling albums, Grammy nominations, 4 worldwide #1 hits and over 70 million in sales. Now reunited again, they continue to take their smooth yet rootsy blend around the world and their live performances never fail to uplift the audience.

UB40’s chart hits include Red Red Wine, Cherry Oh Baby, Kingston Town, (I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You, I Got You Babe, One in Ten, Rat in Mi Kitchen, If It Happens Again, Homely Girl…and the list goes on!

The Red Red Wine Vineyard Tour kicks off on Weds 6 January at Kainui Road Vineyard, Bay of Islands, before heading to Hawkes Bay, Rotorua, New Plymouth, Queenstown, Christchurch and finally Auckland’s Matua Wines. Tickets are only $99+BF and children 12yrs and under are free with a paying adult.
