POP

POP, a free annual series of engaging and memorable temporary public art projects, kicks off in April and will run to June. Through creativity POP aims to change the way Aucklanders think about the place they live and the people they live with. POP has been delivered in the central city suburbs successfully for the past two years, with generous funding and support from the Waitematā Local Board. The 2016 series of POP will again be primarily centred in the Waitematā area, and for the first time some projects will appear in other Auckland suburbs. Watch out for POP Dogs, POP Puppetry, POP Ping Pong and more from April onwards.
