Home and Family Counselling

Home and Family Counselling is a community-based counselling service providing professional counselling to individuals, couples and groups.

We have three centres in Auckland - Mt Eden and Northcote in Auckland and at Stanmore Bay, Whangaparaoa on the Hibiscus Coast, where we provide counselling for adults, children and teenagers.

Home and Family Counselling also fulfills an advocacy role on behalf of clients through submissions to local and national policy makers; and maintains active membership of local networks, and of the New Zealand Federation of Voluntary Welfare Organisations, a national coordination service for not-for-profit organisations, provides vehicles for this role. Our Director, Mary, is a member of the Federation's national executive.

We are an incorporated society with charitable status from the Inland Revenue Department and rely heavily on the generosity of donors and supporters to meet the ever-increasing needs of Auckland's growing population.

Home and Family Counselling is one of the most highly regarded social counselling services available to all members of the community in Auckland. We offer our services to all people regardless of their financial status and with respect to ethnic, culture and religious background.
