Linden School

We are a small community school that has been serving the Linden and Tawa area since 1952. With a long and proud history the school has pupils from New Entrant level to Year 6.

Here at Linden School our focus is on quality teaching to ensure every child achieves his/her potential. We focus on building supportive community relationships and on providing high quality educational programmes where every child is valued and a passion for learning is developed.

Our dedicated group of staff take pride in the high standards of class programmes across the full N.Z. Curriculum range, with special emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy. Information and communication technology tools are readily available and used widely in teaching and learning.

We provide extension opportunities, arts and sporting opportunities, learning-support and EOTC opportunities for our pupils, in an environment which is caring, safe, fun and stimulating.

We value and encourage parents’ and caregivers’ involvement in class and school activities.
