Suitable for Ages
The Puhoi Heritage Museum is designed for people with an interest in the development of New Zealand in the late 1800's as well as those who are descended from the Bohemian settlers.
The museum, housed in one room of the old convent school, displays in text and photos the history of the special settlement of Puhoi from Tangata Whenua o Mahurangi to present day. A small number of artefacts enhance the story.
We will endeavour to be open at the following times, dependent upon the availability of volunteers.
Open Daily 12.pm to 3pm except Christmas Day and Good Friday
Adults $5 Seniors $4 - children free
Guided Tours: Arrangements can often be made for guided tours and groups outside normal opening hours.
Puhoi Heritage Museum is located in the old Convent School, Puhoi Road, Puhoi Village (just before the Church from S H 1).
