Roundhill Ski Area is one of New Zealand's finest family ski resorts, located near the town of Tekapo, 3 hours from both Christchurch and Queenstown.
Roundhill is renowned for its excellent learner and intermediate terrain with wide undulating slopes for some of the best runs around. All the runs are accessed by a single, 1.2 kilometre long T-bar - New Zealand's longest T-Bar.
The mountain offers spectacular views of Aoraki Mount Cook, the Southern Alps and Lake Tekapo.
The newly developed 'Central Park' offers kickers, tables, boxes, rails, rollers, jumps and two massive sculpted earth 'platforms' for more advanced skiers and boarders.
Roundhill offers a full range of ski and snowboard equipment for hire, fully qualified ski/board instructors and a kiddies' lift.
Roundhill Ski Ares is usually open early July till early October.
