The St. Luke's Centre was opened in mid 2004. It is a two storey complex, comprising a large (110 square metres) high domed, upper hall (the Atrium), and a smaller Lower Hall (66 square metres). It was a jointly funded enterprise between the Anglican Church, the Community and the Wellington City Council. Located adjacent to St Luke's Church, on the corner of Wadestown Road and Pitt Street, it has been designed to be multi-functional and is suitable for a variety of activities.

The Atrium is an attractive, vinyl floored hall, with a high vaulted roof. It has excellent acoustics and modern decor. Good window design permits superb lighting and provides excellent views over the western hills. There is a large adjacent modern kitchen. Seating capacity is approximately 160 theatre style. An adjacent glass covered cloister area can accommodate an additional 30 people. This latter area can be shut off, if desired, by large folding doors.

The Lower Hall is carpeted and opens to a pleasant, sunny, private patio. This Hall can seat approx 70 people theatre style.
