Dom Polski

The Dom Polski, or Polish House, is the home of the Polish Association in New Zealand Incorporated. We have been based in Newtown since the 1940s, and in our current premises since the early 1960s.

The Dom Polski boasts a hall rich with original 1960s character and a well equipped kitchen. Over the decades it has seen many a wedding, family celebration, community meeting, dinner, hall and gig.

When not in use by the Polish community, the Hall, and our downstairs library are available for hire. The hall accommodates up to 160 people seated at tables or 200 seated theatre style. Our library is suitable for smaller gatherings and seats up to 30 at tables or 40 theatre style.
