The 31 July show features Ingrid Saker, Greta O’Leary, and Sean O'Connor
Ingrid Saker - is a blues and folk influenced guitarist and songwriter from Te-Whanganui a Tara. She fronts bluesy punk-rock band Ingrid and the Ministers and appears regularly in other indie groups such as Goodnight My Darling, Plug, and Museum Stork. Ingrid whakapapas to France
Greta O'Leary - is an alt-folk artist with a unique and unmistakable voice. Her spacious and pervasive sound is laced with dark humour and relatable human insight, warmly familiar, yet curious and distant. Understandable, as she came of age during a few nomadic years hitching the globe and discovering her love of music through the folk scene of Australia and beyond. Her debut single 'Outnumbered' was released this February, and she is currently recording her debut EP with support from NZ on Air , out this spring.
Sean O'Connor - Sean and his late wife Amanda were busy harmonising and playing guitar and flute in the folk scene as a singing/songwriting duo and later with their daughters in the 90s and 2000s. Now solo, he has put together an album of new and old songs on relationships, climate change, love and loss. He backs his melodic, heartful and thoughtful songs with fingerpicking and strumming honed over many years experience playing originals, covers and Irish pub music.
